Every time a heroine or a hero becomes a name to reckon with in Kollywood, his or her films in other languages find a market here. Anushka, as the newest on screen sizzler, is no different.

When her 'Arundhathee', itself a dubbed version of a Telugu film, has been running to packed houses, plans are on to release another Telugu film of hers, to cash in on her popularity.

The film that will next hit screens is 'Thirupaachi Aruva', a remake of her film 'Mahanandhi'. With Sumanth playing the lead, Anushka played the heroine in this film, which was directed by Samuthra. 'Mahanandhi' was released way back in 2005 in Telugu, and is likely to get dubbed and released in Tamil later this month.
